LOUIE'S CAFE REVIEWS

Louie’s Cafe is located adjacent to the LSU campus and provides that 50’s diner vibe. It’s a mainstay for breakfast. The menu is replete with egg and meat options, along with those desirable short-stack choices! This really is a gotta try type of place. If you enjoy that diner atmosphere with the vinyl stools at the counter, old fashioned metal legged tables, and good ‘ole greasy home-style cooking….then you won’t be disappointed.

Professional Travel Foodie!! This place is AMAZING! The service is spot on and such a great friendly atmosphere. The food is truly a delight! We had Eggs Louisanne and the Louies Seafood Omlette. First, the portions are huge and they come with a side!! They don't skimp on their seafood in their gravy or omlettes. Their coffee is hot and yummy. After a long day of flying, this was truly a delight for breakfast!

Great place for breakfast. Great hidden treasure. Place to visit from out of town. Little wait to get a seat but way worth the wait.

Lawwwdd, Sunday Brunch was amazing. The three amigos, set out for brunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe. We were created by Germany, very professional, she notified us that there would be a 15-20 minute wait. Germany offered us to review the menu while we waited. Our waitress was Leslie, very professional and kind. Leslie just happened to complete her first full week, great job Leslie. I ordered the pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon for my three year old. He indulged the bacon and pancakes, he is not much of an egg eater. I consumed the French toast, with over easy eggs and bacon. (My bacon went to my three year old and 18yr old.) My daughter ordered the cinnamon roll french toast, she absolutely loved it. We also had two hot chocolates, a chocolate milk and I a lemon blue berry mimosa!!! Great atmosphere, my three year old was a little loud at moments . We will return!!!

I got the standard breakfast with French toast. Really enjoyed both the food and atmosphere here. Our server, Ashley, provided great customer service. Additionally, Garrick the manager took the extra step to make sure we were taken care of. Would definitely stop by again!

Sherron was super helpful in ealking us through the menu, as we are very indecisive, and waited on us in such a friendly way.

CITY CAFE REVIEWS

Love this place with the service, and the gentle nature of this place. Showed up and got the 25 minute wait and 1 minute later, the hostess came and got us a table right away. Very busy Cafe with a bar and a spacious dining room. Our waitress got the orders and kept the drinks refilled at all times. The manager runs a tight shift and seems to have a good humor with his employees. The manager even helps with cleaning tables and picking up plates, which a manager to me does not do but this guy does. I had a roast beef po-boy with salad. The eggplant sticks were surprisingly delicious and pretty sure this is the best I ever had. If traveling on I-10 and driving through Baton Rouge, give this place a shot.

Well, not many places can have great food with outstanding service with monster portions. The atmosphere of sports bar/ restaurant/ outdoor dining really set this place off! Food was fresh and creative with everything brought to the table right from the stove. Seafood was outstanding.

Unexpectedly great. We came from Zachary and wanted to try a good brunch spot. Literally just picked this place at random. Turned out to be a great spot. Chicken and Waffles were great. Beignets were too notch. Coffee? Good.
