Butter Cafe provides local farmers with fair wages and supports their local community. They also offer breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily. You can taste their Bacon Avo Egg Sandwich, Mushroom Veggie Burger, and Spinach Strawberry Salad. Here, vegan options, free Wi-Fi, and wheelchair accessibility are also available. They are focused on the use of fresh, local, organic ingredients. They also offer you an online order. The cafe has dine-in and takeout.”

Gem City Catfé also has a separate art gallery with additional seating upstairs and plenty of large tables. They host private events and meeting facilities. Amenities include a cat lounge, cafe seating, and an upstairs art gallery. They create an accessible and pleasant atmosphere. They highly recommend entering the Member Cat Lounge and enjoying a filtered coffee at this cafe. Free WiFi and takeout and delivery options are also available here. The cafe also has an art gallery upstairs, which serves as extra seating for co-working or for activities like classes, meetings, and workshops. They offer free street parking.”

GHOSTLIGHT COFFEE REVIEWS

I’ve enjoyed coffee shops in multiple states within the eastern time zone but in a single visit Ghostlight Coffee skyrocketed to elite “Top Two” status. What do I love about Ghostlight? First, the atmosphere is very chill and unique with its goth/grunge/steampunk influences. Second, my lumberjack latte was made incredibly well and the menu boasts multiple offerings — even alcohol for those who take their coffee Irish — that I predict will have me going somewhat out of my way in the future whenever it’s even slightly justifiable. Third, little touches like feminine hygiene products in the bathroom signal thoughtfulness and, while obviously I have no need of such things, my girlfriend easily could have, so I appreciated her having the option. I’d give six stars if I could. Venture into Ghostlight today.

Delicious the baristas always make sure to take their time and make your drink exactly how it is supposed to taste!! They never overpower the drinks here with too much flavor other shops I visit sometimes go overboard on the flavors and you can’t even taste the coffee here is the perfect balance of your drink choice and flavor always delicious and comforting.

The service was amazing. The quality of the pastries and coffee were excellent. I got the an ice fig vanilla black pepper latte with almond milk with the poppyseed muffin. It was delicious, if I visit Dayton again I’ll be back.

Everything about this place is amazing. From the decor to the staff to the food and atmosphere. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The breakfast was delicious! The staff was so kind and helpful. If you live in Dayton or passing through you need tostop here and have a meal.

Had a great time. Called ahead for our group of 8 and they were able to accommodate us, comfortably. And our server was super sweet. The food I had was delicious. We were all satisfied with our orders. There were so many other options that I also wanted to try, so I guess I'll just have to come back.

So delicious! Staff were friendly and everything was so lovely and tasty.

GEM CITY CATFÉ REVIEWS

This is one of my favorite places to visit in the entirety of Greater Dayton. I've visited a couple of cat cafes from Milwaukee down to here, and this is easily the best. Their creativity with the design of the cat room is simply awesome. There's a bunch of tunnels for the cats to retreat into to get to their food, there's a ton of ledges for them to climb up to and observe us meer mortals from. Including a cat-friendly Wright Flyer! What's really appreciated is that there's enough windows to watch the cats play around too, if you don't want to go into the room. Even inside the room there's enough nice seating if you want to attempt to work while a cat crawls around your legs I feel like I can't fairly judge their drinks (I'm not a coffee person), but I have always had so much joy visiting the Gem City Catfe. The crew really is the best- you can tell from how they've had hundreds of cats adopted in only seven years.

Gem city catfe is amazing. Tasty treats and drinks, a great art space/meeting area, and a catfe area where you can meet your new best friend or just play with the kitties waiting to meet their forever people! They take great care of their kitties, helping keep kitties off the streets through Gem City Kitties, and also partner with Gem City Vet for low income vet care needs in the Dayton area. Staff is absolutely lovely and happy to answer any questions, help you find your new favorite drink, and maybe your new best pal. Spend an hour and relax. They also have a great selection of cute small boutique gifts for the cat lover in your life! Buy a yearly membership, a cute card, a pin or t-shirt, coffee mugs, and more, all available while you wait for your coffee.

My children love to go here! We have a family membership which gives us a discount every time we come. We love visiting with the sweet kitties and I love the Boston Stoker coffee! Highly recommend.
