COFFEE CUP CAFE REVIEWS

This is a great neighborhood diner. Lots of selections for breakfast and lunch. Not open for dinner. During the week it's pretty casual, on weekends they can have a long line of people waiting to get in. I like it because there's a number of vegetarian choices on the menu, but my friends can get hamburgers or bacon. Service is good, bathrooms are clean, cash only, so hit the ATM on your way, parking is throughout the neighborhood so know that you may have to walk a block or two.

So lets talk about the Coffee Cup Cafe located in Long Beach CA. I order the same plate for years now and I do not plan on changing my order. Hanks Chicken Chili Verde is my go to there. That plate coupled with the flavored coffee is the way to start off the day. You might see me sitting at the bar mowing through a plate. Make sure you say hello.

Great place for breakfast. I'm vacationing from out of town and I eat here every morning. The waitress, Cameron, is awesome too.

THE POTHOLDER CAFE DOWNTOWN REVIEWS

We had a fantastic breakfast at The Potholder Too in Long Beach! We ordered the Popeye and the Grand Prix omelettes, and both were absolutely delicious—packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making the whole experience even better. It’s easy to see why this place is a local favorite. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a great breakfast spot!

Easy 5/5 stars! Stumbled on this gem and had the perfect breakfast at a very reasonable price on a local spot with a fun vibe. Perfect cook on everything. Crispy but fluffy pancakes, amazing homemade country sausage patties, and cooked to order eggs. Ask for Diana’s section - she was fabulous. Wish I could have snapped a food pic but it was gone too fast. :-)

Delicious food, friendly service, large portions and good prices!! Stopped for an early breakfast before our cruise and it was super easy and inexpensive to Uber/Lyft to the port.

BLACKBIRD CAFE INC REVIEWS

Took my roommate and I far too long to try Blackbird Cafe and we’re glad we finally did. The staff were fantastic to us and the food was beyond what we expected. I got the Huevos Rancheros and my roommate got the Poutine tots, both were off the scale. Street parking only but that isn’t much of an issue in cal heights. The wait was about 30ish minutes for 2 people during a Sunday morning rush, but they take down your number so we passed the time at the antique shop across the street. Absolutely our new breakfast spot.

My wife and I live just about two blocks down, so we're here fairly often. Definitely a favorite among locals, but we can see why people would go out of their way to come here. The food is always great and their coffee always slaps just right. An excellent place for breakfast or brunch whenever we want to treat ourselves. The staff is always nice and attentive, and the patio is dog friendly.

I rate a breakfast place by their cup of coffee. It was a good cup of coffee, nice and smooth. French toast was great. The Matador Omelet was delicious! Service was great. Absolutely would come back!
