3 Best Cakes in Tacoma, WA

Absolutely love our experience with Celebrity Cake Studio. We didn’t taste test at all for our wedding but the flavor was incredible! We chose a raspberry. Best cake I’ve ever had. And my husband usually hates cake but loved this one. We had plenty for our small celebration. Not only that, they went above and beyond for us. We needed to drive an additional 3 hours and couldn’t check into our Airbnb for even longer. Because of that, they put our cake in the flash freezer for us so it would be perfect for us. We did find the swans were a bit too thick for our liking. Our photos for what we wanted (we took components of two cakes and combined them for a custom order) were based off their previous cakes so we didn’t think they would look so different. But that wasn’t a huge issue. They had us make sure everything was okay the day before but it was too late to remake them. Overall excellent experience. We recommend this business for your wedding or any special event!

Celebrity Cake Studio made our wedding cake, and it was fantastic! It tasted so good and the decoration was exactly what we asked for. We opted for fake flowers and just dropped a box of fake flowers off at the bakery a few weeks before the wedding, then they placed the flowers on the cake. The tasting process was super easy as well, we selected different flavors to try then took a box home with samples of the flavors to try at home. The team delivered the cake to our wedding venue the day of, and they were on time and had no issues. We opted for a 3 tier cake with 2 different cake flavors, which was expected to feed about 93 guests.

We got our small wedding cake here it was absolutely beautiful!!! Most recently we got a tasting box for my husband’s birthday instead of a birthday cake. Perfection! I loved being able to try all the different flavors. This is definitely our go to cake place!

I ordered my birthday cake here and it turned out super beautiful and delicious. I did a coconut tres leches and I had to get a bigger sized cake due to all the writing I wanted. I was worried we wouldn’t finish it all since I had a small party but we went back for thirds!! I’m super grateful that they accommodated the design I wanted, Angel and his staff were very sweet. I added the flowers separately but the cake before was very beautiful. I’ve tried their vegan concha’s, maranitos, and pingüinos and everything was super yummy I’m excited to continue coming here.

This bakery is one of my favorite places to visit in Tacoma. They have so many vegan options of both Mexican and European desserts and pastries. Everything I’ve had was a hit and my non vegan friends have loved everything I’ve shared from here as well! Don’t miss the churros - they are fresh and warm and so so good. The folks here are so kind too. We’ll keep coming back to try everything!

I've gotten birthday cakes the last two years here and the flexibility to offer options that account for allergies and dietary restrictions is amazing. I don't know any other place that is so accommodating by default. Everyone raved about the cake and I'll definitely continue to go here for party desserts!
