Where do I even begin, this place is the best Chinese food in Idaho, everything is so delicious and fresh. They have a nice small salad area with a small soup during lunch hours, as well as affordable prices. They have delicious appetizers and entrees. My favorites are Mongolian beef, super tender beef strips with a ton of flavor, as well as their beef Thai rice, so delicious. I love their chicken options as well. Service is always so friendly and so helpful, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

The food was most excellent! Everyone enjoyed every item ordered. The service was also expectional. We will definitely return to try more dishes and have some dim sum. Update. 6/26 was our fourth time or more back. This is our local go to spot for amazing food. We bring family from out of town here. We all love it so much.

Everybody was so nice! Our go to is the Generals Chicken (white meat). At lunch they serve the best cold noodles and salad ever.

I grew up in Boise and this place looks exactly the same as it did when I was a kid. Always outstanding service, good food. My absolute favorite is the "grilled" halibut which is an unusual find at an old school place like this. Also, either the house chow mein or the special chow mein, whichever has the little noodles -- it's awesome. Highly recommend.

Golden Star is an awesome classic Chinese restaurant. We ordered family dinner #7 and it did not disappoint. Golden Star has the best BBQ pork i have ever had. I'm excited to try the pot stickers next time, they looked amazing. The service was great. We are new to Boise and we have found our spot for Chinese food.

The staff is really nice and always remember me, they waste no time to start making the food after taking your order, and it's always really delicious. 10/10 would highly recommend.

PANDA EXPRESS REVIEWS

I am Panda Express' #1 fan (proven) and in recent years, it's been horrible. I swore off Panda Express until I decided to give this one another chance. This is the only Panda Express I will go to from now on. Every other Panda Express burns the rice or under-cooks the orange chicken. This is the last bastion of Panda Express. They forgot my Teriyaki Chicken and just as I was about to leave and go home to discover this cruel truth, one of their employees ran out of the restaurant to tell me before I even realized the mistake and then she brought it out to me. If I knew her name, I'd write it here but it was 10:00 am on November 2nd. Any other employee might have just let their mistake slide but she went beyond what could reasonably be expected of her and I think that's commendable. Panda Express is alive and it lives in the hearts of everyone who makes it what it is.

Thank you thank you, I've always said with panda express the one thing they always need extra supply of this chow mein nice thought today the bowl is twice as big as any other bowl. Thank y'all for hearing complaints and adjusting accordingly you've earned peoples respect.

This is the the best panda to visit! They are great with portions and the food was still fresh even tho I came in 40 minutes before close. They were very friendly and helpful. I appreciated that they were kind even tho I came in late due to coming after I got off work. Very impressed as a lot of pandas are likely to be old food and grumpy workers late at night.
