LUNASIA DIM SUM HOUSE REVIEWS
We love coming to Lunasia restaurants. This was one of the first upscale versions of Dim Sum available in Pasadena for as long as I can remember, and a nice option outside the more popular areas for Cantonese style cuisine. The portion size here is huge and you definitely should bring a larger party here so you can try more options. It can get crowded here on the weekends, so get here right when it opens or you could find yourself waiting longer than half an hour. They do the traditional items pretty well which include the turnip cake, shrimp hargow, shumai, and string beans. You can't go wrong with a lot of the dishes.
Excellent food, fast service, reasonably priced. What more can you ask for in this day and age? The salt and pepper chicken wings were especially great.
This is a fantastic premium dim sum place here in Old Town Pasadena. The service is great and the food is always delicious. The #75 Beef Chow Fun was my favorite and can't wait to try some of their other offerings. Limited Street parking outside.

GRANDVIEW PALACE REVIEWS
This is one of the hidden gems in Pasadena. Love this place a lot. We came here often, but sadly we moved out of the area. This is classic American style Chinese food done right. The service is so great. We became fast friends with the workers there. You get seated fast and your food comes in fresh. Our all time favorite is the orange chicken with real pieces of orange, bbq fried rice, wor wonton soup, and the crispy rice chicken soup. When it’s too crowded at other big restaurants with a wait time of 2 hours you can always count on this place to seat you right away. We even booked this place for my son’s 2nd birthday. They really made his birthday special. Thank you so much. When we come back to Pasadena we will definitely stop by and eat. Definitely don’t sleep on this place and order the Grandview special chicken for a peppery spicy kick that is just right. Vegetarian options: If you tell your server they can work around you. Kid-friendliness: Very kind to our son. We even had our son’s birthday party here. Parking: You can park at the parking garage. Free parking for 3 hours.
The plates are bigger I ate “Combination Lo Mein” (chicken, shrimp and beef I added broccoli ) and I just can say it’s so delicious!!! I’m definitely I’m going to come back
I love this place. Good people who make tasty food for an outstanding real made to order dishes for a great price!!! Support my friend as they are against many competitors in Old town. They are legendary!

YANG CHOW RESTAURANT REVIEWS
We went here for mother's day. Have to say this little mom n pops restaurant is great. The food was absolutely delicious. Service top notch. Complimentary tea. The food portion is amazing. Also there's a celebrity hall of fame . We spent over $100 well worth it. And we took an amazing amount home as well
Yang Chow is a fantastic restaurant. Every meal that I’ve had here has been absolutely awesome. Don’t miss out on the slippery shrimp which is probably the best meal on the menu. First class service as well.
The tofu was so good. The place had a lot of vegetarian options. The service was quick and efficient. I would definitely come back here. Vegetarian options: The ma po tofu was my favorite. I did not enjoy the bak choy as much, but loved the fried rice, tofu and veg dumplings Parking: There were about 10 ish spots of parking, but there was ample street parking as well .
