EBENEZER BAPTIST CHURCH REVIEWS
I had the privilege of attending a church talk at Ebenezer Baptist Church, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The speaker was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the church, making the talk engaging and informative. I learned so much about the significant events and the rich history of this place. If you want to uncover the true facts and stories behind this iconic church, attending one of these talks is a must. It's a first come, first serve basis at 1, 2, and 3 PM, so plan your visit accordingly. Highly recommend this experience to anyone in the Atlanta metropolitan area!
My visit at Dr. MLK's father's church Ebenezer Baptist was moving. The opportunity to visit where he preached was humbling. Because the church was still pretty much restored to the era of the sixties I felt like I was in a timepiece. The staff was polite and informative. I would visit it again.
A park ranger gave a well prepared 20 minute talk on the historical significance of this church in American history. The church has been maintained in very good repair.

Cathedral of Christ the King is one of the best churches in Atlanta and was constructed in 1936. The first Eucharistic Celebration of Christ the King Parish was held on August 15, 1936, in celebration of the Feast of The Assumption. The first pastor was Father Joseph E. Moylan. There were about 250 families at the time, whereas they have about 5,00 families registered. Christ the King was constructed and designed as a parish. Their Cathedral Family consists of well over 5,700 registered families who are deeply involved in the over 100 Ministries in service at the Cathedral. During construction, it was initially designated as a co-cathedral alongside Savannah, but was later named the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Atlanta. Cathedral of Christ the King is an active parish of over 5,500 families with 600 children and a school of faith of more than 700 registered children. Cathedral of Christ the King was used for mass until November 1939. The ministry provides guidance to children and youth in their parish to develop a lifelong commitment to following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE KING REVIEWS
Beautiful building. I was here for a Saturday wedding and the pastor had a face-worn mic which made him easy to hear. There are stained glass windows on every wall which really adds a pop of color and beauty to the atmosphere.
Visiting from Houston. Took in the 10:30 Mass. Beautiful liturgy. Beautiful music. Traditional Mass w a contemporary feel. Recommend you get there early. SRO. Church was packed. Friendly, hospital. Would definitely visit again.
A solemn cathedral, speaker can be perfectly heard from the back. The Priest’s homily was easy to understand and relatable. The Parishioners were warm and welcoming. I would love to come back next time.

The Catholic Shrine of the Immaculate Conception is a Roman Catholic church located at 48 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive SW in downtown Atlanta. The church was constructed of wood on the corner of Lloyd Street and Hunter Street, now known as Central Avenue and Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, in 1848 by an Irish missionary, Father John Barry. Their mission is to strive to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ as a welcoming community of diverse Christians seeking spiritual growth and providing compassionate outreach. These early missionary priests obeyed the railroad, celebrating Mass in various railroad camps and towns throughout north Georgia. This passionate and devoted community, from time to time, provides special music and accompanies the gathering in the liturgy.

THE CATHOLIC SHRINE OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION REVIEWS
We were in Atlanta and needed to find a church to attend mass. Luckily we found this wonderful church and even found free parking in the lot which is amazing. The church is very beautiful inside with portraits on the ceiling. The mass was a little different than we were used to but wonderful nonetheless. The church choir did amazing job and preformed with excellence. We were welcomed warmly by everyone and recognized for being vistors. If we were to visit Atlanta we would definitely visit this church again.
This church is absolutely gorgeous!! Father Henry is the greatest priest ever ! He baptized my twin boys also my daughter , he will work with you and will just go above and beyond for your family and children !! Even living more than an hour away we still drive here some sundays for mass bcus I just love the environment, especially that it’s kid friendly and they aren’t strict when it comes to kids acting out in a church .
Took my mother in-law Sunday morning. Nice service, beautiful church, modern music. Right across street from courthouse.
