She trained with numerous studios in the Hampton Roads area for 17 years, including Denise Wall's Dance Energy and the Governor's School for the Arts. The dance school has been running for more than 23 years. They train dancers of all ages. Their students range from ages 3 to adults. They provide a vast range of various dance opportunities. Kelli's Dance Explosion opened one of the largest studios in the Hampton Roads area and houses over 450 students. DANCELAND II SCHOOL OF DANCE REVIEWS

We moved to Moyock NC from Norfolk and had been looking for a dance school for our daughter to join as she was loving ballet in Norfolk and wanted to continue that experience, in addition to finding new friends in a new place! We were looking for a similar experience to the one she had at our Norfolk studio in the end we got that and much much more!! We found DL2 to be more structured, more professional, and more fun! We feel that she has blossomed here and is even more in love with dance than before. That says it all... There's an energy here and a lot of hard work is accomplished with a lot of joy and enthusiasm. Would we recommend DL2? Of course!! Our daughter has grown so much at this studio, we always look forward to recital so we can see her improvement. Their competition team is also a great opportunity to expose the kids to sportsmanship...yes dance is a SPORT.

This is the BEST dance studio ever! The teachers are outstanding, class options are amazing! I mean, how many kiddos do you know that can say they've had recitle at The Sandler Center?? Also, the competition teams are soooo much fun and they've even danced at Disney. The options are unlimited for your dancers.

I have been dancing at danceland for over half of my life, it has become a second home. All of the teachers are so nice and care about everybody and their growth as individuals. I have grown so much as a dancer and a person. I have made some amazing memories here.

ACADEMIE DE BALLET AND DANCE CENTER REVIEWS

My daughters just moved across country and started right away at AdB. The staff is welcoming, the studios are large, well equipped, clean, and the added benefit of parent viewing capabilities. The studio also sponsors Masterworks, a ballet company with emphasis on sharing God’s love. I do not have to worry about what my girls will be hearing, dancing to, or asked to do through choreography. The instructors are all trained and come with vast experience. I’m excited about the year to come.

My granddaughter started dance at another area school's summer session, but the staff and other parents didn't seem friendly at all. Based on a neighbor's recommendation we switched to Academie De Ballet and WOW!....what a difference. Everyone is so friendly, receptionists, staff, and parents. It's such a pleasant place to be, nice big viewing windows, friendly instructors that talk to family members after the classes. Seems like everywhere u look there r smiling faces. So glad my neighbor recommended them. Ty Academie De Ballet.

We LOVE this dance academy! We never have to worry about inappropriate songs, costumes, or dance moves. Everyone is professional. There is a wholesomeness here combines with healthy body image. So proud both our little girls dance here.

KELLI'S DANCE EXPLOSION REVIEWS

This is only my 2nd time going but the staff is so friendly and the zumba class is great exercise. I am finally catching on to some of these dance workouts. It has been a fun experience and I plan on coming as much as I can.

I love KDX its a great school awesome teachers, my daughter love to dance & they push her to get the best from her now my daughter wants to more classes, and put more into dancing @ KDX. AND AWESOME TEACHERS ESPECIALLY MS. JAMI & MR. DUANE!

My twins absolutely love it! They look forward to class each week. The instructors are patient and make sure each student understands and can perform the steps.
