The instructors are knowledgeable and patient with students and really connect you to the Triangle dance community. Look forward to coming each week.

Absolutely love this studio. My friend told me about it and we decided to give it a shot. The belly dancing class was really good and we decided to stay for hip-hop too. We loved both of the classes and will definitely be back. Tip: It was a little difficult finding the building and it looks like there’s a restaurant in the same building but if you keep walking towards the left you’ll find the studio.

I've been dancing at Ninth Street Dance for over 16 years and it truly is a wonderful place! It is a fantastic atmosphere for adult dancers (and kids), with caring, insightful instructors. I highly recommend Ninth Street Dance to anyone looking to take classes to brush up their skills, return to dance from an injury or who just want to have a good time.

My 5-yr old daughter and I have been looking for the perfect dance school and Barriskill has met every need and expectation we had. We recently went and had a free trial class. The front desk was extremely helpful with any questions I had. The associates next door in the uniform store were also very helpful and full of knowledge that they had no problem sharing with me when asked for suggestions. The teacher was very good at keeping their attention. The other students were very welcoming and when they started to practice for the recital they kept eyes on her and helped her with her poses and placement. I met other parents who were also very welcoming and had nothing but praises about the school. I can't wait for her Summer class to start in July and I've already picked a class for her to start in the Fall as well.

My daughter has been attending Barriskill for many years now and I just have to say how appreciative I am for this place! From top to bottom, they care about my daughter and give a great dance experience. I also appreciate the recitals and how they do not rush the kids (especially the girls) to grow up too fast and dance/dress like they are 10 years older than they are. Just such a great family environment - I cannot say enough.

This place is like a family to me. You learn so much in one year, and every one is so sweet and welcoming. There’s so much energy and excitement, it’ll lift your mood as well. The teachers are great, I just can’t say it enough. The fact that there is a wide range of dance styles is also awesome because you can choose to take as many, or as little as you want. No matter what, you’ll have the a great time. Highly recommended.
