“Eno River State Park is 33 miles away before winding up on the county's eastern side at Falls Lake. This 4,319-acre woodland has hiking, camping, canoeing, and fishing areas on the Eno River. The elevation gain of the trail is 18 meters. The trail is generally considered a moderately challenging trail route. The river flows through hills and bluffs with shrubs and pines, ready to go hiking and enjoying one of five entry points. It is one of the river's most beautiful routes, where water flows over rocks, and green grass hangs from stone-lined bluffs. Eno River State Park features nearly 28 miles of trail that will take you to the center of nature. The waters of the Eno River stream through dense trees, old mills, and home sites, and they are lined with flowering shrubs and over early settler fords. Backcountry camping is accessible at single sites and group campsites.
