If you are looking to start driving, even if you have no experience or are an older driver like me, look no further than Elizabeth at Alfa Driving School. I just passed my Road Test (that she led me to) after nearly 40 hours of driving lessons with her, and I have only the highest recommendations for her instruction. She is meticulous, skillful, patient, and kind. She is the kind of teacher who would never give up on you and will push you towards excellence. When I started driving (at 40), I was rather intimidated, going at turtle-like speed, but Elizabeth assured me that with every lesson, I will build muscle memory as a driver, and that this memory will stick with me and only get stronger over time. She was right, and today, I"m a newly-minted licensed driver! My whole family was shocked that I passed the exam on the first try. Even after getting my license, I plan to take more lessons with Elizabeth to gain confidence driving on a highway and in my own vehicle. I would also add that Elizabeth is witty, sharp, and a heck of a human being to be around. I enjoyed every interaction I've had with her and learned a lot from her strong, uncompromising character.

I had an amazing driving experience with Mr especially with Mr. Fernando. I appreciate the way he explains things in simple, easy-to-follow steps without overwhelming me with too many details. He focuses on the key aspects that students need to concentrate on and breaks them down into practical, manageable steps. Additionally, the confidence he instilled in me while driving by allowing me the space to practically apply what he taught is a unique skill. Thank you so much, Mr. Fernando, for helping me successfully obtain my driving license. I had an excellent experience. The instructors (Al) were knowledgeable, patient, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. They took the time to help me understand all the rules of the road. The scheduling was flexible, and I felt well-prepared for my driving test. I highly recommend this school to anyone looking to get their driver’s license!

I am writing to recommend Michael as a driving instructor at Nathan's. My daughter recently took her 6 hours of lessons with him and he was patient, kind and a great communicator. He took time to meet with me, the parent, before and after each lesson to discuss plans for the lesson and how things went. My daughter felt comfortable and learned so much from him. We were very pleased with this portion of driver's ed. We were less pleased with the 30 hour classroom experience which was led by a different instructor. In addition, I want to concur with some of the other reviewers' comments regarding Bob- my older child had a terrible experience with Bob a few years ago and I am disappointed to hear he may still be employed at Nathan's. Avoid Bob!

I highly recommend Nathan's Driving School. My son took several behind the wheel lessons with Chris Willis and we were very satisfied with each one. Chris is positive, patient, and thoroughly covers the curriculum with his students. Not only was the instruction top notch but the customer service was also great. Definitely the place to go.
