“Dr. Mark Perry completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of South Florida. He then pursued his Doctor of Optometry degree at The Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, where he graduated with high academic honors, achieving Magna Cum Laude status. Dr. Perry was honored with the prestigious Ivan M. Borish Award and recognized with the Optometrist Elite Award by his colleagues. Dr. Perry is a distinguished author, having penned the Clinical Guide to Anterior and Posterior Segment Pathology. Dr. Perry also serves as an examiner for the Florida Board of Optometry. A devoted member of various optometric associations, including the American Optometric Society (AOS), Southern Council of Optometrists (SCO), and the Florida Optometric Association (FOA), Dr. Perry has played essential roles within these organizations. Specifically, he has chaired the Membership Services and Convention Planning committees. Currently, Dr. Perry practices at the Vision Health Institute. He specializes in complex medical procedures and contact lens fitting for patients.
