SMOKING KOW BBQ REVIEWS

There’s some REALLY GOOD BBQ here!! Stopped in for lunch and was surprised to see how many proteins they offered on their menu, it reminded me of a real TX smokehouse, with a chalkboard style offerings list and so many options… they had everything except beef ribs! So, I opted for a half pound each of turkey, pulled chicken, and brisket. Also got a side of Texas Caviar. The side was really good, it’s basically a cold bean salad with a smokey, spicy sauce. The brisket was decent, but they cut me some off the fatty, point side, which isn’t my fav, but it was definitely moist and tender. It just had way more fat than I wanted. But that pulled chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had! Tender and very nicely seasoned! The turkey was great! The only better turkey I’ve had was at La BBQ in Austin (and I’ve had smoked turkey at many places in TX and KS.). Their sauces were decent, but all three were heavy on the vinegar, lite on the tomato…. Still, nicely seasoned. Service was great and the place, including restroom was very clean. Highly recommend stopping in!

Me and a coworker stopped into this place for lunch the other day and were blown away. This was some of the best bbq I have ever had. I grill and smoke frequently at home and have never had burnt ends cooked to perfection like this place. The mac n cheese, sweet potato mash and grits were phenomenal. We also spoke with the owner throughout the entire meal and had great experience. Highly recommend this spot and will be looking to return soon.

Best Food EVER!! We LOVED the food!! Everything was delicious. We had the family platter, so we can sample different meats and sides. Honestly everything was amazing from start to finish. Our personal favourites were the turkey and mac and cheese, but we enjoyed it all!!! My kids keep asking me to go back!!! It was such a treat.

The people’s choice! The hype lived up to its name. Ordered their quesadilla with gyro meat and loaded fries with chicken. They don't hold back on their portions. Also had the mango lassi. You can also bring your own bag of chips and they can load it with all those good ingredients. Similar style with Mexican food I have seen with Sonora. Well organized ordering system and located behind an apartment complex off of Duke St. Lines started forming before officially opening at 5 pm.

We had 2 rice bowls and the loaded fries. Beef is on the sweeter side and rice was def our preference. Fries were truly loaded and were not disappointed with any of our choices. You really get your money's worth here and the flavor is phenomenal. Carried 2 rice bowls and they were hefty bowls! Although there were many people in line, they run efficiently and the wait was worthwhile. Can't wait to try out the other items on their menu.

Such great food!!! I was impressed with the different flavors of the rice bowl. I had to make a pit stop here while driving down south and it was well worth it. Also, the hawawshi was a hit!!!

MARKY’S MUNCHERY REVIEWS

Marky’s Munchery is a great spot for a quick lunch, especially if you’re shopping at Home Depot nearby. The owner is incredibly pleasant and outgoing. The cheese was absolutely amazing. The outdoor seating is a great option to enjoy your lunch in the fresh air. Overall, it’s a convenient and tasty stop that I would recommend for anyone in the area.

Brought the dogs here to get some dogs. Fun to sit and visit with Marky while he cooks up some dogs for you. We love the Phillies and my go-to dog is the Sloppy Marky’s. Yum! Fresh and hot every time! One of our favorite spots, esp. when you are tired of the “normal” fast food.

This place was amazing! Best crinkle cut fries I've ever had! The burgers were awesome, too! We'll definitely come back to this place.
