CHART HOUSE REVIEWS

While visiting Alexandria from San Antonio, TX, we stopped by the Chart House for lunch with the family. It was a beautiful day, so we opted to sit on the patio with a lovely view of the river. The service was excellent, and the food did not disappoint. The guys also decided to try the fresh oysters, which they thoroughly enjoyed. We each ordered something different, and there were no complaints from anyone. Next time we’re in Alexandria, we’ll definitely be back.

Erin was excellent. I called up at three in the afternoon to reserve a table for three by the water and she made it happen. We arrived and had a great table by the water; We started off with cocktails and plenty of bread with olive oil. Then ordered the cream of crab soup and the fantastic lump crab cakes with sides of creamed spinach and asparagus, plus great beers. Erin stopped by the table, multiple times to ensure everything was great. We also had very pleasant servers. The evening was really good and hats off to Erin and her team.

We went there for our Anniversary and the restaurant couldn’t have been nicer. We had a lovely window table with a wonderful view. Our server greeted us with a Happy Anniversary and a card was given to us signed by the staff. The food was terrific and very tasty. Service was spot on. We were not rushed at all. This was the nicest evening out we’ve had in a long time. Definitely will go back.

MUST GO TO VOLAS IN ALEXANDRIA! I was blown away by how delicious every single dish was! Excellent food and excellent service - the host was lovely, our waitress was awesome, the manager also checked on our table - top tier. We also got to enjoy a beautiful view. Highly recommend. The sea bass and grouper (catch of the day) were my favorite. Everything was scrumptious.

Vola’s Dockside Grill is one of my favorite spots in Old Town Alexandria. The view by the water is simply beautiful—perfect for a relaxing lunch or dinner. I really enjoyed their lobster roll and hush puppies; both were packed with flavor. The atmosphere is lively but still chill, and the patio seating is a huge plus when the weather’s nice. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. It’s a great place to bring out-of-town guests or just treat yourself to good food with a great view.

My wife, baby, and I enjoyed a wonderful Valentine's Day lunch date here and had a wonderful time! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, seating us in the secondary dining room so that there would be room to park our stroller, and checking in regularly to see how everything was going. The food was amazing as well, I got the crab cakes and my wife got the shrimp fettuccine and both were amazing. We can't wait to return and try more dishes from the menu, we highly recommend Vola's.

New to the area and looking for a good oyster place. We were sat quickly on the second floor balcony. Great views and atmosphere. Ordered a dozen raw oysters, oysters Rockefeller, and the minted oasis cocktail. All were really good and hit the spot. Definitely will be coming back. Thank you for great food, service and atmosphere.

Normal restaurant, EXCELLENT food! I'm from out of state and didn't expect the amount of lobster in my lobster roll. I 100% would come back here with no reservations. All the other food was excellent too.

Really well cooked and excellent quality seafood. We got a half dozen raw oysters and did a pound of crab legs and Aji tuna tacos. They also had a good draft Pilsner and a hazy beer- really good beer selection.
