Citron European Bistro is truly a gem. Went for the second time and they happened to be open on Thanksgiving! They were very welcoming, the staff was prompt to provide friendly service. The chef is a maestro in the kitchen - both the tomato soup with young spinach and french onion soup were so warm and flavorful. The main course special was a lamb shank with assorted vegetables and beans (they also had a turkey and stuffing special but opted for the lamb). A wide assortment of dessert options to finish the meal, that night we went with the crepes Citron. Light and flaky crepe served with fruit and whipped cream. Filled with a soft sponge and citron creme that paired perfectly with a caramel drizzle over top, combined for a great finish to the meal.
It was a special celebration. We've been wanting to try this restaurant for awhile and it didn't disappoint! The bratwurst and braised pork melted in your mouth. Cooked to perfection! We couldn't decide on dessert, both the crepe and pudding were yummy. The chef came out to say hi. Such a lovely evening!
Excellent place. The food tasted really good. Nice quaint little place. The chef even came out to check on his work. Thank you very much.
