Milward funeral home provided us with the best possible experience when my mother passed. From the beginning they were kind and professional. We were able to get all her paperwork done very quickly at the funeral home on Broadway St which allowed our out of town family members to head home without delay. Milward funeral home was compassionate with their care of all of the immediate family. They explained the process and the timeframe so that we always knew what to expect. We felt very well taken care of and we trusted them to take care of my mother.

The entire staff of Milward’s was a blessing in our families time of need. They handled everything so well when my mom passed in 2012 that we used their services again when my father passed this year (2025). My friends and family were treated ver well and respectfully by the staff at N Broadway and their Celebration of Life location on Man-O-War. The Milward’s family will make you feel like family; even through the planning, services, and beyond with their Grief Support Group. Cannot praise enough the Milward Family and staff at all locations!!

We had such a good experience despite the difficult circumstances. I found everyone at Milward’s to be extremely professional, empathetic and respectful. I particularly appreciated working with Angie because she made everything so easy for me. Both Southland and Man O War locations were great venues for us to hold our funeral ceremonies.

These amazing people helped me in everyway they could to get my mother cremation.they was clean, honest, respectful .first death I undergone for myself to deal with they gave me a rundown on how everything works and will go in place .and the women that was helping is was Jessica .Lord she just did more than her job but beyond make it as easy and calming as she could thank you for everything.

A relatively new director, Jeremy, came to a home to pick up a deceased where I served as their chaplain. Jeremy was so kind and compassionate and very patient with the newly bereaved daughter. Her father died unexpectedly and Jeremy could not have been more kind or considerate of her needs. Very thankful Care Cremations that you've hired Jeremy!
