“Dr. Raj I. Narayani obtained a degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed his internship and fellowship at the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium in Texas. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Dr. Raj I. Narayani worked as an academic gastroenterologist at David Grant USAF Medical Center in California and then joined Gastrointestinal Associates in 2005. He has expertise in treating chronic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), colonoscopy, and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Dr. Raj I. Narayani is affiliated with Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center and Jefferson Memorial Hospital. He specializes in gastroenterology, video capsule endoscopy of the small bowel, and advanced treatment of Barrett’s esophagus. He has also researched these topics. Since joining GIA, he has spent nearly 20 years improving its electronic health record system. He has spoken at national meetings and published a review on electronic medical record integration.”
