3 Best Gastroenterologists in San Diego, CA

I am all about integrative medicine with holistic being first. Dr. Pratha is intuitive and very knowledgeable about gut health which is the largest part of the immune system. Being a kidney transplant patient, I have many challenges because of the anti rejection meds I have to take which raises havoc on my upper GI health. I am confident that Dr. Pratha will keep helping me to keep on top of it especially with herbal medicine. She is kind with a wonderful bedside manner and listens. I have referred my voice students to her who have gut problems or acid reflux. She is a really good doctor!

Dr. Pratha is wonderful. She spent so much time with me and really listened to what I felt was going on. She was willing to do some digging and find out what was wrong with me, way more than any other Dr. my favorite thing about her is she chooses a holistic approach and natural remedies first over any prescribed medication. She is very knowledgeable in this area. I am so thankful to have found her!

Dr Pratha is very kind and patient with our case. Is able to give us new perspectives which any other doctor I've met for my son has failed to give. She is an amazing person and we are lucky to have found her!

Great doctor. Very engaged during my visit. It seems rare to actually have much of a conversation w/ doctors these days. They are too wrapped up in typing things into a computer or rushing to their next patient. Dr. Paredez took the time to listen to what my concerns were, review recent relevant procedures performed by other doctors, and discuss a number of options / recommendations. He also relayed some relevant personal experience - which made the discussion very relatable. Fortunately, in my case, he assessed my situation as being relatively benign and was reassuring in his suggestions of minimal intervention and keeping an eye on it. He did not push pills or procedures as it sometimes seems doctors are incentivized to do these days. His office staff was also professional and prompt. The only down side is parking prices have now been raised to $6/hr for the pleasure of parking at XiMed. Not the doctor's fault of course.

Dr Paredez's and his staff were so amazing. I had an Endoscopy with him recently and it went so smooth. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience. All medical staff members were so gracious and comforting throughout it all. Dr then answered all of my questions after the procedure was done.

Great experience. Quiet peaceful office, spacious waiting room,friendly staff. Doctor very personable and didn’t rush the appointment. He took time to hear what I had to say, explained everything and made a plan for the future.
