“Dr. Ian M. Purcell graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine and completed a residency at UCSD Medical Center. He specializes in dizziness, vertigo, BPPV, and other balance disorders. He has been in practice for 21 years. He focuses on oto-neurology procedures, developmental delays, and orthostatic hypotension treatments. He is a world-renowned vestibular specialist and now lectures and guides at large ENT and neurology hospitals throughout the U.S., the Middle East, and Asia. He is very interested in providing insight into how sensory information related to gravity is encoded and processed by the vestibular system to control oculomotor and postural reflexes. Dr. Ian M. Purcell actively publishes research articles on the vestibular system and is involved in the innovation of many new vestibular technologies.
