“Dr. Ian M. Purcell is a neurology specialist who graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine and finished his residency in neurology at the University of California, San Diego. He did his internal medicine internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch and completed his fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch. He has been in practice for 18 years. He is affiliated with medical facilities such as Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas, and Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla. He is a world-renowned vestibular specialist and now lectures and guides at large ENT and Neurology hospitals throughout the US, the Middle East, and Asia. He specializes in clinical neurology with a specialty in Oto-Neurology and Headache management. He practices at Senta Clinic. He is passionate about how sensory information related to gravity is encoded and processed by the vestibular system to control the oculomotor and postural reflexes and spatial orientation of the human body moving through a complex three-dimensional environment.
