Dr. Song saved my son’s life. Words are not enough to express my appreciation to him. My son does not always understand but Dr. Song always made sure that he understood what his treatment would be. He is truly a gift from God to his patients. Thank you Dr. Song for my son’s life.

Dr. Song is the best doctor you could wish for. He cares for his patients with love and kindness. He has been treating my mom since August 2023. Although she is undergoing difficult treatment, we feel safe because we can trust Dr. Song and his team.

About a year ago I was diagnosed with MDS bordering on AML Leukemia at the Oncology Hematology Clinic at the VA Hospital . I sought a second opinion from the Scripps Prebys Cancer center in Hillcrest . I met with Dr. Marin Xavier , a renowned blood cancer specialist , and was introduced to the facility . Compared to the VA hospital I was very impressed with the state of the art facility . I began treatment under Dr. Xavier . Her prescribed treatment differed from that of the VA since the VA Oncology Hematology Clinic is restricted as to prescribing certain treatments. Dr. Xavier explained every available treatment and told me her recommendation and why . Here I am a year later in COMPLETE REMISSION never having experienced any serious side effects and feeling great . I also give a 5 Star Review to the nurses at the infusion center . My prayers go out to anyone having to undergo a similar situation in life and hopefully this review will be of benefit to you .

Dr. Xavier and her team are chemotherapy/biotherapeutics experts, providing state-of-the art treatments fresh off the FDA approval pipeline. She took great care of our father and gave us meaningful time with him.

Dr. Xavier and the whole oncology team at Scripps are the best. True Angel's here on Earth. Thank you for every day we have together.

Cancer is a terrible diagnosis to not only the patient, but with the family as well. Dr. Vlad and his team has been supportive for everyone in the family. He answers all of our questions thoroughly, let's us know what his professional opinion is every step of the way, and has been realistic and honest while still being patient and considerate of what we are all going through. He never makes our family member feel like they are lesser than of a person or they don't matter. He socializes with them and us and treats us like people, not another patient or number. I'm so glad our family member is under the care of Dr. Vlad.

Dr. Vlad is a wonderful doctor. When my daughter was in the hospital we were so lucky to have him assigned to her case and after her release we continued under his care. I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is a caring and diligent doctor, a rarity these days in the medical system.

I am grateful to Dr. Vlad for treating my health condition. It significantly improved the quality of my life.
