Played Shadowmoss for the first time today. This course offers the most bang for your buck in the Charleston area. Course was in great shape considering how much rain they’ve received in the last week. I will definitely be back the next time I’m in town!.

honestly for the price its Great. club house staff were great and were cool when 1 person of our party didn’t show up. We had fun and thats all that matters.

Have always met friendly golfers that just enjoy playing regardless of how well I could play.

CHARLESTON MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

By far One of the best municipal golf courses in the country after the redesign a couple years back! no doubt in my mind it's the best course for the money in the Charleston Tri-County area. that being said, for really high handicappers be warned, this is not a golf course to take lightly. The green complexes are very tricky. everything runs off. the greens are so fast. considering some of the greens are elevated and very undulating fall offs, you may think you put it on and then it runs off 30 ft. humbling to say the least ! definitely reminds me of a Seth Raynor golf course . The front nine is daunting the back nine. I find to be a lot easier and also more aesthetically appealing, especially when the Sun goes down. beautiful sunsets. can't rave enough about this course other than the challenge.

This course has a welcome to our neighborhood vibe. Great for all levels of skill. This is a walkable course with very little elevation changes, but don't be confused. All the challenges are in the short game on and around the greens. They have a driving range, putting green and large practice area with 2 large practice greens and a chipping green. Highly recommend.

The course was wet when we played since it had rained the entire day prior, but I loved this course. The greens are a lot of fun, and were in great shape, especially considering the time of year. The mossy oak trees give it an almost spooky vibe, which adds to the experience. What a gem they have at the Muni.

Austere facility. Great food in the restaurant. The golf courses are top notch. Ron Cerrudo, the teaching pro, is wonderful. I drove seven hours each way, for a lesson. More than worth it!.

Beautiful venue for a delicious lunch on the heavenly, wide veranda. Fantastic service and impressive staff. A refreshing oasis!.
