“2026 Update: Little Met Golf Course, the first golf course in the Cleveland Metroparks system, originally known as Course No. 2, was established as a temporary facility to generate interest in golf and accommodate players before the opening of Big Met Golf Course. The destination has been operating for over a century. Continued demand for the golf course led the Cleveland Metropolitan Park Board to maintain the golf course’s operation in the following years. Little Met Golf Course accommodates golf leagues and group outings. During winter, the park allows activities such as sledding and cross-country skiing. Players are encouraged to follow "ready golf" by preparing for each shot and maintaining pace with the group ahead. They estimate 2 hours and 15 minutes for 9 holes, averaging about 15 minutes per hole. Golfers can replace divots, repair ball marks, and rake sand traps.”

"Mastick Woods Golf Course offers 9 holes with a par of 31 and a length of 1900 yards. Jared Budner is the Golf Clubhouse Manager of the Mastick Woods Golf Course. Jared previously served as an assistant golf professional at Wooster Country Club and worked as a Division 2 golf coach at Lake Erie College. He brings several years of experience in playing and instructing golf at competitive levels and holds a degree from Baldwin Wallace University. The course was designed by Harry Burkhardt, the first golf superintendent of the Cleveland Metroparks, and built by individuals working within the park district workforce. The course is situated in the midst of an Appalachian forest and provides a serene view of trees and sky. Mastick Woods Golf Course is ideal for junior golfers, beginners, and families looking for a relaxing golf experience.

2026 Update: The golf course has been functioning for over 61 years in the area. Their gift cards are accepted at all Cleveland Metroparks locations for use of various services and activities."

"Sleepy Hollow Golf Course features 18 holes, a par of 71, and a length of 6,754 yards with 133 rating in slope. The architect who constructed this beautiful golf course was Stanley Thompson. Cleveland Metroparks presents solo-rider golf carts, which are single-rider golf carts designed for people who need mobility assistance on the golf course. Rena Galeti is the Golf Clubhouse Manager of Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. The solo-rider golf carts are offered at daily cart fees to people at Shawnee Hills, Seneca, and Big Met golf courses who need mobility assistance. Golfers can experience the pristine course conditions and fast pace of play at this championship course. Hole 2 is an impressive par 3, and with the tees back, it requires a driver tee shot for all but the long hitters.

2026 Update: Rena manages clubhouse operations and maintains a hospitable environment for guests. She is available to address inquiries or coordinate details for outings directly."

LITTLE MET GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Short 9-hole course, which has a consecutive trio of near identical par-3 holes. It's quaint and easy to play. There are some good deals for greens fee too. I would recommend to golfers in the area looking for an easy and quick round. Some of the greens are fairly challenging though. Almost no hazards too, which is a major plus for beginners.

Course was pretty simple but we did the night golfing and it was way to much fun! I will say it’s a bit dangerous with the amount of people of the course but it just added to the fun

First time I ever got to walk the course and itgreens and everything were nice and staff was very friendly. Dec 28 and golfing..and rainy but open makes us happy

Nice little 9 hole golf course - Par 31. Staff is friendly - course well kept. Not always crowded - I have been able to get out and play a round on my own. Only drawback is occasionally being an open course beginners may slow things down - but always enjoy coming here.

It’s exactly as advertised. Good course to practice a variety of par 3 challenges with some longer holes to pull out driver or low irons. Rates are also great, specifically if golfing during twilight, and the crew is very friendly. We will be back!

Great course and atmosphere. Staff was friendly. Took my 9 year old son for his first time playing 9 holes. Great local course! Family-friendly. Well kept. Another Metroparks gem!

SLEEPY HOLLOW GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

One of the best “public access” courses you will find anywhere in the country (hence the ranking as 14th best municipal course in US). Played yesterday - conditions were superb, greens perfect and played the round right at 4 hours. Add in the friendly server running the snack bar and the amazing bargain of $35 senior rate as icing on the cake. We NE Ohioans are lucky to have such a great course to enjoy.

The course is extremely well kept and features scenic views throughout the round. Both sides feature challenging holes including blind shots, water and bunkers nestled near the greens. The greens can be quick and require you to hit well placed shots. Great selection of food and drinks as well.

Best Cleveland Metro Parks golf course. Great team shop and the course is well maintained. There’s a full driving range also. There’s a hall that will most likely be hosting a wedding on the weekends. The golf pro is excellent.
