“Mesquite Golf Club is a municipal course owned and operated by the City of Mesquite. They are located in the Duck Creek floodplain, which was built in the 1960s by Leon Howard. Mesquite Golf Club was initially opened as a 9-hole course, and it expanded to 154 acres and 18 holes two years later. In addition, the course developed from 6,100 yards to 6,980 and included Champion Bermuda greens and 20 new bunkers. Their instructional golf program teaches the basics of golf in partnership with The First Tee of Greater Dallas. The Mesquite Golf Club's snack bar offers Pre-packaged food, hot dogs and drinks.”
