PALMETTO

9300 South west 152nd Street, Miami, FL 33157 Directions

Since 1959

Here’s The Deal:
Palmetto Golf Course was designed by Dick Wilson, who has created many other courses in the area. The main course features are 18 holes, Par 70, length 6648 yards at the slope 128. Palmetto Golf Course receives its name from the beautiful palmetto trees that line the fairways and wandering waterways. Although they join the scenery, the trees increase as a challenging element so that the golfers can hit shots. Water risks come into play on ten holes of the course, including the famous signature hole, a 435-yard par-4. There are also sand bunkers strategically located throughout the course layout. Palmetto Golf Course equipment boasts lighted training facilities, including a practice putting green and driving range. Crandon Golf Academy also offers Golf lessons, clinics, and junior golf camps.

MELREESE COUNTRY CLUB

1802 North 37th Avenue, Miami, FL 33125 Directions

Since 1961

Here’s The Deal:
Melreese Country Club is one of the best golf courses to hold the next corporate golf or match. The club's main features are 18 holes, 71 par, length of 7270 yards at the slope 128. The championship course, which has six sets of tees, emphasizes rolling fairways and large, undulating greens. It is a tight golf course featuring five lakes that come into play on 14 holes. The golf course has outfitted with replanted tall live oak and palm trees that can hit shots to make up for the damages caused by Hurricane Andrew. There are also nearly 100 sand bunkers present on the course. It has water adjacent to the right side of the fairway from the tee to the green, and it needs an approach to shoot past water to an island green. The International Links also gives a lighted driving range and putting green.
