I chose Iris Tattoo because it had great review online and looking through their portfolio their artists offered the style I was after. This was my first tattoo and although I had ideas of what I wanted I didn't have a specific design. I chose FLOR to do the tattoo as I loved her combinations of lines and watercolour. I was not disappointed. The whole process was very smooth and very collaborative from consultation, through iterations of design, sizing and placement of the tattoo and the tattoo process itself which took nearly 3 hours. Flor is super talented as you can see and is a lovely person to chat to, putting you at ease and distracting you from any pain or discomfort. It is not cheap, but as the saying goes, Buy Once, Buy Well, you get what you pay for! I can't recommend Iris and Flor highly enough - thank you!
LOVED my experience at Iris Tattoo! I got a tattoo at the shop about a week ago with Maria. Everything about the experience was simply lovely. Prior to my appointment, I sent them a design request and they were very prompt in responding to my inquiry. I was quickly able to set the appointment and put down a deposit. The appointment itself was excellent. The shop was very clean and welcoming. They gave me a little box of goodies to have during my appointment as well as some cleaning and care supplies to have after. Maria, my tattoo artist, was very kind and accommodating. Found this place last minute trying to get a small tattoo with my girlfriend on our last day here in Miami. Saw that they had great reviews so decided to give them a call and see if they can take us. Alex was super cool and friendly. He worked with us throughout, making sure we were pleased with what we wanted before the ink hit the skin. Brian, the tattoo artist, was great and very chill. He made sure we were happy with the size and final stencil of our tattoos. Brian was very thorough and professional during the actual tatting. I also got an ear piercing from Alex and he did an amazing job. The whole experience was wonderful and we will definitely be coming back when we come back to Miami! Highly recommend this tattoo and piercing spot!!!
