3 Best Museums in Miami, FL

Visited today with my 6 year old son and we had a very good experience. I give it five stars because I feel the value matches what you pay, no more and no less. The museum is well organized, the staff was very friendly, the scenography and illusion setups were very well done, and everything looked clean and properly maintained. We did not wait at the entrance, parking was convenient, and the whole experience felt smooth from the beginning. The visit itself is a little short. In our case, the full tour took around 40 minutes, so if you are expecting a long activity, keep that in mind. Still, it is something different, entertaining, and the optical illusions make it worth visiting, especially with kids. I recommend it if you want to do something different in Miami.

Awesome experience!! This place was so cool. We needed something to do before boarding a flight so we found this place and we were extremely surprised with how fun it was. The pics are even better. The staff around the museum offers to take photos for you which was just an added bonus. I wish I remembered the young lady’s name at the front counter, she was so sweet and helpful! Definitely a cool experience for the entire family!

This is the coolest museum! We had the best time exploring. Great for kids and adults. Absolutely worth the price of admission. One of the most unique experiences I have had at a museum!

I came for the Waves of Style exhibition opening and it was great. They had places where you can snap photos with Waves of Style props and individuals dressed in the theme. In the lobby area, there was also a DJ and an open bar. The drinks were traditional open bar drinks but they were good. I toured the museum, including the Waves of Style exhibition, and I loved it. It was interesting to see history of swimwear through the Miami’s perspective. It was also neat to see what Miami looks like through the artist’s perspective. I also loved how they had a section where you can sit down and design your own bathing suit on paper with different type of prints and all material needed. It was simple yet fun to do. Towards the end of the night they served hors d’ Oeuvres and they were all tasty. This was definitely something different to do in Miami. I absolutely enjoyed it.

This museum is a true hidden gem in downtown. We were genuinely impressed by the quality of the exhibits. Everything is displayed beautifully, making the history come alive. We particularly enjoyed the sections on aviation and the immigration stories that shaped the city. It’s not just dry facts; there are so many cool artifacts and interactive parts. A must-visit for history buffs.

Informative museum. Covers the diverse and rich history of Miami. The museum touches basis on various cultural groups throughout time which was very interesting to read about. The museum also has a section which covers the Seminole tribes history in early Miami.
