I needed help passing a fitness test for my job, so I decided to try DMV Iron after the gym next door did not provide the results I had hoped for. At first, I was intimidated to come here, but I was lucky to have Nick as my personal trainer! He’s a great motivator and made me feel at ease. Very quickly, I knew I had made the right choice. With Nick’s help, I was able to easily pass my test and learn how to safely and correctly deadlift. More importantly, I now have the confidence and knowledge to train independently. I highly recommend giving DMV Iron a try, especially their personal training services. It is definitely worth the investment!.

Best equipment gym I’ve been to anywhere in the US that I’ve traveled. Richard and the staff were awesome! Richard gave me a tour of the whole place and was always more than happy to point me in the right direction when I wanted to find a specific piece of equipment. Doesn’t matter if your a bodybuilder, powerlifter, or just interested in general fitness, you can’t go wrong with the DMV Iron in Alexandria.

Plenty of equipment/weights and room to use whatever you need. They upgrade the facilities and equipment fairly regularly and for the most part everything is kept pretty neat and orderly. If they run out of things like paper towels in the bathroom, as long as you alert the front staff it's taken care of pretty much immediately. The trainers there are great and really make you feel at home and welcome. 99% of my workouts are at 5am though and it's definitely a quieter vibe and much less busy than say 5pm. I've been here a handful of times with the after work crowd and it can definitely be a bit hectic. Probably comes with the territory in this market though. All in all I think this gym gives the best value for the money in the area.

Great layout. Even when busy there's plenty of equipment to use. Clean, we'll maintained. And I good vibe. Have yet to try the strike classes but from what I can see it looks challenging and well organized.

Great experience working out at onelife fitness Alexandria. The amenities were exceptional, plenty of space and machines to make my workout quick and efficient. I recommend joining this gym if you live in the area for work or visiting. One last important detail is a worker named Clayton was very supportive everyday I attended this gym as I didn’t know if I wanted to come here at all, he deserves a raise!!.
