It has several picnic tables and an area to grill and allow rowboats and canoes out on the lake. They have a wonderful lake that connects up to a small river, an outdoor shelter, and a playground for the kids. The 28-acre lake and its peninsular island make up a park within the larger Phillips Park of the city. Waubonsie Lake Park is a Serene Park with a fishing lake, plus biking trails, a picnic pavilion in the playground.
