EASTWOOD METROPARK REVIEWS
We love to bring our kayaks here. There are two sections of this park. One with the large lake, and the other side has a long bike trail and many parking spots along the way to the back of the park where there are docks and places for picnics or gatherings. The scenery is very pretty at this entire park.
This park is wonderful. The yellow trail is relatively flat, about two miles long, and runs along the river then circles a meadow. Lots of flora and fauna.
One of my favorite parks! So many walking paths to chose from, and one of the best spots in town to sit on the rocks and watch the water rush by!

POSSUM CREEK METROPARK REVIEWS
Nice easy hiking trails with historical interest. Also several fishing lakes are available. Shelters are for rent. Horseback riding trails are available. There are a few tent and cart canning sites. Dog-friendliness: Dogs must remain on a leash but can be taken on hiking trails.
What a peaceful experience. We love the mindfulness trail signs. Bathrooms were still open and clean. There was even hand-sanitizer in the stalls! We are looking forward to applying for a permit to camp in the springtime.
Very nice trail system had a really cool little farm to walk around with live animals! Trails are maintained. Lots of different scenery.

TAYLORSVILLE METROPARK REVIEWS
Love this park! If you're looking for a challenging and varied trail to hike, this park has several trails that fit the bill. Area down by the river is often wet and can be especially "sloshy" after rain or during thawing between seasons, so just plan footwear accordingly. Shorter and longer trails are available, too. Bathrooms are clean.
Great trails, well maintained and well marked. There is a 1 mi, 3 Mile, and 5 mi trail that are all in the moderate range. There is a large covered gathering area that is available for rent and a great place for events. Restrooms at the gathering area are primitive but well maintained.
Orange Trail: saw ducks, a deer, and the highlight of the hike, a black squirrel Overall, it was a nice hike, but vehicle and traffic noise can be heard on almost all of Orange. Less noise can be heard on the part of the trail that is fairly straight and follows the river.
