POINT MUGU STATE PARK
“Point Mugu State Park features 5 miles (8.0 km) of oceanfront beaches, palisades, and chaparral-covered mountains. The park includes two major canyons with seasonal rivers and grassy valleys highlighted with oaks, sycamores, and the occasional native walnut tree. There are more than 70 miles of hiking trails and a 2.9-mile loop trail, which is generally considered a challenging route. It takes 2 hours and 8 minutes to complete the entire trail. Point Mugu State Park also offers a wide array of activities like hiking, running, camping, swimming, mountain biking, picnicking, wildlife viewing, and horseback riding. This ideal haven also has a designated space for dogs.”
