Savannah Ogeechee Canal is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization that provides trails, kayaking, and nature tours. The museum and the nature centre tells the history of the 1880s commercial canal, with models & remains of its locks. It has a popular Stewardship Program for visitors. You can enjoy the weekend of camping and completing a service project for Savannah Ogeechee Canal. The boardwalks abd bridges made for easy picture taking and a higher view of nature. The trails are well-maintained while preserving the natural environment.

Wormsloe Historic Site is a historic site that features ruins of a Colonial home, gardens, footpaths, and an oak-lined driveway. It also provides programs and events. During programs and events, guests can interact with historical interpreters and tour a museum. The staff are knowledgeable and are available to answer any questions. Wormsloe Historic Site also provides plenty of benches that you can rest. Wormsloe Historic Site is well worth it to explore within site.
