"Bacon Park Golf Course was designed by acclaimed golf architect Donald Ross, a par-72 course that showcases tree-lined fairways, undulating greens, and strategically positioned bunkers, providing a challenging and rewarding experience for golfers of all proficiencies. Bacon Park Head Professional Gordon Gnann’s objective in teaching the game of golf is to help students improve their golf skills and develop/maintain their athletic abilities. His approach to teaching is to provide the student with a complete understanding and education about their own golf swing and body mechanics. He focuses on what each individual is capable of doing from a physical standpoint. He creates patterns and swing characteristics that will provide the student with an efficient and powerful swing.

James Walden is the PGA General Manager and Director of the Golf Course. He attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC, and graduated in December 2009 with a Business Administration degree and a concentration in Professional Golf Management. He also became a PGA professional in 2010 and has served on multiple committees, and was President of the Georgia PGA East Chapter from 2018 to 2021. The staff are considering their fantastic course amenities for golfers to enjoy as valued members. They also have membership plans and payment options available to consider. All annual membership plan pricing is based on a 12-month commitment.

BACON PARK GOLF COURSE REVIEWS

Gem of a course. Bacon Park was a real pleasure to play at, and made for an amazing day of golf. From the unique course layout to the sincere hospitality of the owner—this place was great. I’d also like to mention the carts were phenomenal with the intuitive touch screen monitors. The owner made time to drive out and ensure we were having a great time. Very friendly staff and great rates. Definitely will be back soon!

Beginner golfer here, Bacon park is an excellent place to start. Good course, layout is nice and just challenging enough that you feel tested but not frustrated. Experienced golfers may like nicer fancier courses but for me I’ve loved it.

I was in town for Memorial Day and decided to come hit a few ball's at the range. The guys at the course made me feel at home. Plenty of laughs and the course seems to be in good shape. Very reasonable rates.

CROSSWINDS GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

This was our first stop for a weekend of golf in Savannah, and this was far and away the best course we played. The range is equipped with shot trackers at each bay which made for a great warmup to start the day. The course is exceptionally well kept, watered daily, with the white tees playing a bit long (a perfect challenge for high handicappers). The course is near the airport so planes are flying directly over head throughout the round, which is cool for newcomers like us. And above all, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The 9-hole par 3 course was super fun - we played through three times after we finished our 18 on the championship course. We spent all day here and definitely plan on coming back. Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking to play in Savannah.

I want to start out by saying Amy Costley is amazing, My wife and I just got married yesterday and Amy is spot on when it comes to attention to detail coordination and being personable with her clients . My wife and I received everything that we asked for and even more. So if you are thinking about having an event especially a wedding, please do not over look Crosswinds. They have an amazing staff and enough space for whatever event you are planning. Again Amy thanks again for everything, you are truly an angelic soul.

Recently got married here & it was amazing! If you are looking for a venue, this is the place! Amy made my day stress free & helped me with any questions & concerns. The food was great & the whole process was easy.

THE CLUB AT SAVANNAH HARBOR REVIEWS

Stunning corse. Our tee time was 4:03 we were a couple paired up with 2 singles together we played from 3 different tees. No stops at the club house in between and we got our carts back right at 8:05 - the last few holes were really rushed to try and get to it all. The sunset over the bridge on the last few holes was immaculate and the scenery throughout was beautiful. The driving ranges was probably the best I’ve ever been to - all other experiences on metro Atlanta. The wind really picked up making the difficulty go up but the challenge was good. Saw a lot of wildlife our favorite being the alligator the least favorite being mosquitos - bring your bug spray.

Booked 3 back to back tee times here and our whole group had a great experience. Great range facility, cart girl was nice, food and drinks at the turn were quick and the course was in great shape. Will be back next time I’m in Savannah. I would put it up there with courses two and three times the cost in other places.

Great golf course. Very fun and challenging track with great amenities all the way around. Greens run fast and true and well maintained. Watch out for wildlife!
