I visit Genesee Valley Park for the trail system. I enjoy visiting this park because of the leisurely trail system that runs along the river from downtown... passing through the University Of Rochester Campus and connecting to this park. The trail also connects from this park onto the erie canal trail. The trail is great for jogging, biking, rollerblading or easy walks.
Very nice playground on quiet street. Up to date play equipment and plenty of benches for parents to sit. Ball fields & tennis court looked decent. Plenty of picnic tables and grills under shady trees. Conveniently located next to the canal walking/biking path.
