Very prompt bar service, even when it was busiest. The atmosphere was great, and karaoke was fun with two hosts. Owner was friendly and accommodating! I will be going back soon!.

Enjoyed a lovely drag brunch! The buffet style food and mimosas were fantastic. The entertainment was lovely of course and the space is welcoming for all!.

Roar is the best and most inviting bar in Rochester for all people. There is truly something for everyone as they say. And if you question that then you're the problem.

Love it here!! The owner/bartender Patty is amazing! Dave the bouncer is awesome! Eric the bartender upstairs is awesome as well! The crowd is always different but you definitely see a mix of everyone. The drinks are really good prices.

Amazing place for goths and punks! I been all around the country, glad there's still the few in our country that keeps these places going! It takes a community these days.

This was my home for many many years. People are inviting. Even if we look intimidating. Every one is a pleasure to be around. Friendly.

Definitely check this place out! I'm new to Rochester and find myself at Abilene's often. The live music is always great and the owner +staff are all super friendly and cool.

This is THE place to be. I met my partner here. I met new friends here. I meet old friends here. If I want music, and I want to be free to be me, this is where I am gonna be. The end.
