Perhaps, one of the best decisions of my life was to sign up at Arthur Murry. All the instructors are knowledgeable and love teaching their students how to dance. Plus, every Friday you get an opportunity to come out and practice what you have learned. If you're a lady, you're treated like one here! And if you're a man, well, you learn how lead and even be a bit of a dance floor hero. When you grab a wedding planner and she says, "Wow, I've never danced with someone who knows what they are doing before," you know you that you've learned how to dance well. Come here to learn, to make good friends, and enjoy good company. Maybe, I'll see you there! Credit for the photo goes to AMDS, which I shamelessly stole so that I could show off to all of you.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Rochester is the best! By far my lesson time it is most enjoyable hour of my week. My wife and I started taking lessons last year to prepare for our daughter's wedding and never stopped! It's been an incredible journey. The learning, laughter and friendliness is like nothing I've experienced before. IT'S FUN! Take it from a person who spent his lifetime fearing the dance floor and self consciousness that this has been the most rewarding experience I could ever imagine. You will not find a better bunch of people to spend time with.

My husband and I had such a great experience at Arthur Murray for our wedding dance lessons. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and our instructor was so much fun to work with. We learned a lot, and definitely recommend Arthur Murray for anyone who is interested in taking dance lessons.

DANCE CONNECTION REVIEWS

I was looking for a dance studio that offered adult dance classes and I found it in Dance Connection. I hadn’t danced in over 40 years until I started a tap class at Dance Connection last summer. Everyone was so welcoming! The teaching staff are knowledgeable, friendly and have a passion for dance. I loved my class and dancing with other dancers that had the same experience. We were all in search of a dance studio that offered a true adult class and we found it in Dance Connection.

We love Dance Connection! The teachers are great and all 3 of my girls have danced there! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a studio where your kid can learn ALL kinds of dance and also be encouraged to grow as a dancer and as a person. Skills are important there, but they also care about my kids.

Dance Connection hosted my son’s 4th birthday party and it was fantastic! The teachers were phenomenal and they had a ton of dancing, obstacle courses, and activities for the kids to do - including face painting! - and the kids even did a performance for the parents at the end. The communication for planning the party was excellent and the entire process was easy and stress free. Highly recommend.

FRED ASTAIRE DANCE STUDIO REVIEWS

I have been taking ballroom dance lessons at Fred Astaire in Rochester NY for two years and I could not be more pleased. The instructors are wonderful! From students just beginning to seasoned professionals the level of teaching never wavers - nor does the amount of fun you have during a lesson. I began in 2013 with no idea how to ballroom dance and this year I was able to compete at the Summer Classic Competition at Turning Stone Resort and take first place my division! This "dance journey" has made me more confident, more outgoing and more likely to stray outside my comfort zone than before. I highly recommend Fred Astaire in Rochester NY.

I knew I wanted to take dance lessons for my wedding. Every lesson was a blast. Not only did we learn our first dance but we were able to use other dance moves we had learned for our reception. Joey was our instructor and was amazing! She was patient and she truly wants to see her students succeed. It was such a fun bonding experience with my husband. Everyone there is amazing and make you feel welcomed no matter your dance experience or skills. We plan on still taking lessons.

Fred Astaire has been wonderful! We started dancing to prepare for our first dance but have really enjoyed learning and finding a new hobby— we plan to continue our lessons even after the big day! We mostly work with Joey who is great, but honestly everyone we have worked with there has been wonderful.
