3 Best Dance Schools in Rochester, NY

I was looking for a dance studio that offered adult dance classes and I found it in Dance Connection. I hadn’t danced in over 40 years until I started a tap class at Dance Connection last summer. Everyone was so welcoming! The teaching staff are knowledgeable, friendly and have a passion for dance. I loved my class and dancing with other dancers that had the same experience. We were all in search of a dance studio that offered a true adult class and we found it in Dance Connection.

We love Dance Connection! The teachers are great and all 3 of my girls have danced there! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a studio where your kid can learn ALL kinds of dance and also be encouraged to grow as a dancer and as a person. Skills are important there, but they also care about my kids.

Dance Connection hosted my son’s 4th birthday party and it was fantastic! The teachers were phenomenal and they had a ton of dancing, obstacle courses, and activities for the kids to do - including face painting! - and the kids even did a performance for the parents at the end. The communication for planning the party was excellent and the entire process was easy and stress free. Highly recommend.

Perhaps, one of the best decisions of my life was to sign up at Arthur Murry. All the instructors are knowledgeable and love teaching their students how to dance. Plus, every Friday you get an opportunity to come out and practice what you have learned. If you're a lady, you're treated like one here! And if you're a man, well, you learn how lead and even be a bit of a dance floor hero. When you grab a wedding planner and she says, "Wow, I've never danced with someone who knows what they are doing before," you know you that you've learned how to dance well. Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Rochester is the best! By far my lesson time it is most enjoyable hour of my week. My wife and I started taking lessons last year to prepare for our daughter's wedding and never stopped! It's been an incredible journey. The learning, laughter and friendliness is like nothing I've experienced before. IT'S FUN! Take it from a person who spent his lifetime fearing the dance floor and self consciousness that this has been the most rewarding experience I could ever imagine. You will not find a better bunch of people to spend time with.
