Find a bench and watch the sunset over the city at the duck and turtle pond and the owls are a hoo-hootin. There's also a giant off leash dog park, there's trails through the trees galore, there's tree forts, picnic spots and there's mushies growing everywhere if you know where to look!!. Don't be rude and bother them though, the volcano gods enjoy their mycelium and they might seek revenge as it is an active volcano.
We were visiting Portland on a mission trip. We had heard the parks were awesome. Mt Tabor Park did not disappoint. The trees, trails, and views were amazing. We took a lot of pictures. We did not have much time. Would have loved to do a lot more exploring. Very Beautiful!
Beautiful park in the city. So many opportunities for walking, biking, great for kids and there is a playground, pet friendly, and fall colors and city/mountain views. Benches and picnic tables around for picnics.
