We went on the weekend and were lucky enough to find parking. The visitor center is closed and you can grab a map. The bathrooms are open and I'm assuming cleaned daily. The trails are all very nicely marked and well kept. This is a great park to get out and walk around, no challenging areas or big hills either. I would highly recommend this park to everyone!
I brought my two preschoolers for a nice leisurely walk, trails are well marked and I’ve even seen strollers, so depending on the paths you choose it’s quite easy for little legs. Verdant forest, beautiful bird calls, and great shade for these warm summer days. The education center is closed for Covid, but we have enjoyed exploring in there in prior years.
We came to check Tryon Creek out on a sunny day and it was wonderful. We did a shorter trail and crossed over High bridge and Beaver bridge, enjoying lovely view the whole way. Beautiful dog friendly, kid friendly natural area to go walk. We can’t wait to try out the other trails!
