“Holocene is a well-known nightclub & bar in a former auto warehouse featuring live bands, eclectic DJs & techno music located in Portland. The club has been entertaining live event performances from folk to minimal techno, Portland's most exciting actors, unforgettable dance parties & all manner of arts and multimedia parties since 2003. Holocene is 5,000 square feet with 25-foot ceilings, towering white walls, spindly bow trusses & a metric ton of hand-built modern detail. The club has two main floors, and each is equipped with an excellent audio system, lights, video projection & performance area. Generally, Holocene's team hosts live music on Wednesdays and DJ dance parties on Fridays and Saturdays. They only permit those who are 18 or older with valid ID proof. Holocene is available for all special functions, from weddings, receptions, and birthdays to company parties, meetings, and video shoots.”
