3 Best Hotels in Brownsville, TX

I've stayed there a couple of times. Rooms are big and spacious, beds are comfy, and the room is clean. The second room I was in, I think, was 118, was a little muggy, and had a moldy smell. It's understandable due to the humidity of the city. But none the less I enjoy the customer service. Also breakfast is top notch, home cooked meals. I had eggs and Chorizo with rice and beans, fresh homade salsa. Coffee is strong. Lot's of variety. I will continue to stay here throughout out my travels.

I love this place!!! Every time i stay in Brownsville i stay here. Its such a nice place, the rooms are very spacious with full kitchen. The breakfast is never disappointing, very well stocked, and if you show up 5 minutes before closing they wait until you are completely done getting your food before they start picking up, unlike so many places like La Quinta and Hampton that they pick up no matter what and the food choices r more limited. 1000% recommended!!!

It's location is easy to get on/off the expressway, the rooms are large, and the service is excellent- especially the GM Alex! The only negative I saw while there is they give you very little cooking utensils and hardly any silverware. That was minor ad I bought disposable forks and knives, but it works have been nice. I'd certainly stay here again if I am in the area!

Well updated facility, modern furnishings and decor, nice in lobby restaurant, nice but small pool and outdoor area for relaxing. I give five stars because for the price you will have trouble doing any better, unless maybe a brand new location. The one way street is a little odd getting used to but the road behind the hotel takes you in the other direction so you just have to think about it. A little noisy, but being near a man rd is part of the good location. For breakfast you place an order at the counter of the restaurant with your room number, so not an all you can eat self serve style but it was very good. I had the breakfast bowl which is mostly kale and roasted tomatoes with your eggs on top and guacamole on the side. It was good but in a very healthy - chic kind of way. They do have milk and cereal for the kiddos though.

The hotel itself is mediocre at best. However, the staff goes above and beyond. They are friendly, helpful and quick! Alexis at the front desk when we checked in was very accommodating with a couple of requests from my wife and me. Marty with housekeeping was Johnny-on-the-spot when we had a small issue in the room. The place was decorated beautifully for Christmas as well. Definitely a quiet, clean and budget-friendly place to stay. Good location to several chain, sit-down type restaurants. We would definitely stay here again!
