3 Best Hotels in Louisville, KY

This is one of my favorite places to go for the Hot Brown. There is no better place in the world. I was hoping to see Sue the hostess but she retired. I had met her last year and she was so delightful. We did enjoy Louise Riley. She was so kind and told us a lot about the hotel and the area. So friendly and of course the hot brown was AMAZING! If you are in the area you must try this delicious plate of food. You will not be disappointed.

I had the pleasure of staying at the charming Brown Hotel again, and couldn’t be more delighted! This historic gem beautifully combines vintage character with modern comforts. The ornate architecture and antique decor took me back in time, while the room had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always ready to share stories about the hotel’s rich history. I left looking forward and eager to return! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable experience.

Stayed here for a week and the hotel what nice and clean. They provide fresh linen every day, along with toiletries. Their conference room had large space. Their food was amazing! You should try their pies and ice cream! They also have private parking spaces right next to the hotel. They have a bar where you can relax and enjoy a drink with friends.

Very nice! Everything’s clean, the rooms are commodious, family-friendly, business friendly, and everything. They even have a Starbucks inside for easy access to food and drinks! However, they should tighten rules on drinking limitations. Yesterday, a drunk man fell off an escalator after a business conference and busted his head open. Many children were in the area and some are deeply traumatized after seeing it. I was near the Starbucks and saw the whole thing happen. Half his face came off and an ambulance came. There were kids on the opposite side of the lift! Imagine if they were on the same guy and a massive man fell on those kids. It was a nightmare. Otherwise a good experience and would highly recommend just be aware of your surroundings and stay away from intoxicated people.

Our family had an amazing stay at the Louisville Marriott Downtown! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—parking was easy, check-in was quick, and the staff was incredibly welcoming. The location is unbeatable, within walking distance to so many great attractions, restaurants, and entertainment options. Traveling with kids can be tricky, but this hotel made it effortless. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the on-site restaurant and bar were both elegant and delicious while still offering great options for kids. It was the perfect balance of sophistication and family-friendly dining. Whether you're visiting for business, a weekend getaway, or a trip with the whole family, this hotel is a fantastic choice. We’ll definitely be back.

The hotel was great, rooms were nice. Restaurant/bar was very good. We were there during derby week which was crazy. My only complaint was the amount of drunk panhandling the occurs right out front. They were pushy and rude. Other then that this place is prime location and a great place to stay. The issue with homeless is kind of out of their hands. Overall I was very happy.
