3 Best Hotels in Santa Ana, CA

Arrived for a late check-in and was greeted by a queue caused by a system outage preventing us from getting our keycards and resting. Took around 30 minutes and everything else went well. The facility looked a bit dated with bits & parts being renovated, but for a 3-star hotel, it’s pretty nice, clean and quiet. The lobby is wide & spacious with cushy seats, layout is pretty good with two elevators servicing the three floors. We got an executive room with one king bed and it was very spacious. The room had window type air conditioner/heater, two TVs, cabinet, desk & chair for working, fridge, microwave, coffee makers. Bathroom was bright, clean and spacious, the bed was comfy with a bunch of pillows. It did smell a bit damp, probably because of the swimming pool in the middle of the property, I feel like families use this hotel for staycations and have their kids just hang out in the lounge area of the room. The buffet breakfast was also pretty good and the dining area was very nice and clean.

My daughter and I love staying here. The area is very pleasant and quiet especially at night. The occasional plane will come and make noise but nothing that lingers and/or will keep you awake or even wake you up in the middle of the night. I have to specifically give a shout out to Patty who works at the front desk. She is so personable, easy to work with and most importantly kind & courteous. She makes checking and checking out an absolute breeze and I never have to worry about having a bad experience when dealing with her. The house keepers are very personable as well, never had a rude, mean or overall bad experience with any of them. Overall this La Quinta in particular is definitely one of my go tos and I highly recommend it.

Hey! Just wanted to share my amazing experience at the hotel! My first time was fantastic. The shuttle driver was super professional, kind, and friendly. The front desk staff were also great—very helpful and attentive. The room was excellent, and I slept so comfortably! Plus, the breakfast this morning was delicious. I would definitely rate this hotel as excellent! Really enjoying my stay.

Everything was great no complaints at all. Depending on your preference some people might say “Boo hoo, the staff at check in rushed when checking me in” but those are the same people who’d complain about a long check in process. I’m all for a fast check in, so if that means no small talk and I’m checked in in about 2-3 min, then I’m all for that. Someone ahead of me was checking in and was almost complete, and still another staff member arrived from the back to check me in very quickly also. Breakfast was decent and accurate to other reviews about hot breakfast items not being self-serve and the use of a breakfast voucher. As a hungry guy I had no complaint about the portion size. I would stay again.

I stayed in this hotel twice and I had a great experience. Rooms are large, clean and bed is comfortable. Housekeeping staff is always helpful and ready to fresh up your room if needed. I also love the location, so close to the airport and a lot of good restaurants around. I arrived a little early and hotel staff was very helpful. They offered me a bottle of water and helped me check in as fast as possible. I’ll totally recommend this hotel to everyone and I’ll be back.

Room was clean and provided a fridge. The breakfast was more than your basic Continental cereal and waffles. There are two hot meals to choose from. Staff was great as well.
