The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa - a DoubleTree by Hilton

Extremely nice hotel with more amenities than I’m accustomed to at this price point. The rooftop bar was comfortable and not busy this time of year, my room was enormous (got upgraded to one of their suites) and the location is convenient for my purposes. My only recommendation is not to depend on availability for dinner downstairs, as reservations were essentially required during our stay.

Was just here for a group dinner. Food was excellent but service was lacking a bit. Vegetarian option was a delicious Beet Risotto. They knew in advance who ordered Vegetarian. Still my plate came after everyone else at the table had finished their steaks.

A lot of tourist stay here. It has beautiful views from the top floor i.e. the revolving restaurant. The food quality is also good. There is also buffet system. You can pay per pex to enjoy the buffet. A good variety of food is available here.
