3 Best Indian Restaurants in Akron, OH

My husband and I love Heera! We’ve ordered it to-go quite a few times but haven’t dined in until yesterday. Each time we are there for pick-up, we see they’re putting effort into the restaurant atmosphere. It is simplistic and clean. Our server was friendly and patient. We’re new to Indian cuisine and are willing to branch out in the future and try new dishes, but for now we love their Tikka Masala and naan. I had chicken with the medium spicy level and he tried lamb, for the first time there with medium spicy level. The first bite (and all the bites to follow) of our meal with fresh butter naan were fantastic! We have closer access to 3 other similar restaurants in the falls and Munroe Falls and prefer Heera over all of them! Thank you for a great dining experience! We’ll be back!

Everything was delicious! I ordered the salted lassi, pakodi chaat, and plain idly (which comes with sambar (soup) and coconut chutney for dipping). My favorite was the pakodi chaat because it comes with the perfect ratio of toppings, including my favorite mint chutney and yogurt. The staff was very kind and the restaurant was clean and well organized. Would definitely recommend it to all!

Nice low key spot for delicious Indian food, had the Gongura with Paneer it was so good. Prices are reasonable as well.

This is the best Authentic Indian restaurants in the Akron area. Every take out order is made fresh. They also offer custom catering. Appetizers, main dishes sides and drinks. Mango lassi is spot on. The chai is one of the best. Please see the recent article. Highly recommend.

Excellent Indian takeout. The naan is delicious and so many flavors to choose. My son got the butter chicken “Indian hot” and devoured it. The tikka masala is by far the best I’ve had locally.

Been going here probably almost a year now. Tried multiple different places, this is the BEST I’ve had around, you’ll be glad you ordered! Chicken Tikki is my favorite.
