I love the atmosphere of a classic old family italian restaurant. Sing it billy joel! Lisa our waitress was the ultimate professional and yet made us feel like family! Crusty italian bread,need I say more. Portions were plentiful and food even mama would love ( that’s italian for delicious). We are from out of town but I think we will be back.

We love everything! Pizza is phenomenal..baked lasagna, yum! Salad with cheese and homemade Italian is my favorite! I’ve never had a bad experience.

It’s all about the cheese! Mountains of cheese. And the classic salad dressing. So delicious, and worth the wait if you get there at a rush time.

DANIEL was amazing at assisting me today. I’ve been coming here for over 7 years since I moved to the Valley. My review is centered around the take out / side entrance. Papa Joe’s is known best for their phenomenal wine selection and authentic tasting Italian food made with the ‘secret sauce’ that leaves you wanting more!.

First time at Papa Joe's in a few years. The service was timely, especially for how busy they were. The food was great all around. We even got two appetizers. The steak was very delicious and the dessert was awesome! A very great treat to have for a fine dining experience.

Exceptional, authentic Italian food with additional options as well. Their stuffed banana peppers and Butter Pecan Old Fashioned were exceptional! Good service, reasonably priced. Definitely someplace we will visit again.

Had my birthday dinner with friends and family at this place, and let me tell you; each one of them loved it. They all praised my choice of going with this restaurant for a classy birthday dinner. The service was exceptional, servers were kind and efficient. Our orders were taken immediately after the party arrived and the food came in fresh and hot. Prices are reasonable which only makes the restaurant worthy of praise. This is the best Italian food in Akron area, that has the best ambiance and best prices. For all Akron locals and those visiting, this is your place for great Italian food.

Had a nice experience when we came for a family member’s birthday dinner! The service was a little slow (like getting drinks, getting drink refills) but I believe they were short staffed. The staff was all very kind and the restaurant was clean. The food was delicious! Pictured: shrimp and risotto, fettuccine alfredo with chicken and broccoli, white pond salad, and margarita pizza. Would definitely come back.

I had the chicken D' Agnes, calamari for the table along with their orangini, artichoke hearts and brussel sprouts. Everything was excellent. If you love Italian food like we do you will love this place.
