3 Best Indian Restaurants in Grand Rapids, MI

I’ve lived in Grand Rapids for many years and just decided to stop in this evening for dinner with my husband while most others were celebrating thanksgiving. The food was INCREDIBLE— flavored with warm spices to absolute perfection. We both couldn’t stop smiling from how intricately distinctive and soothing the meals were. My husband, unfortunately ate his entire meal, however, I have leftovers of which I had to write “stay out, Mark” on. If you love comfort food, try this warm alternative that your tummy will thank you for later. You won’t regret it, I promise. We will absolutely be back.

Awesome flavor. I love the dishes here. There are several vegetarian options. The only note I would make is that there is some heat to the spices. I love the food because it can be hot and flavorful, but even the mild dish we got had a bit of heat. My take-out was ready quicker than expected. The staff was there as soon as I walked in and both people who spoke to me were friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

I loved everything about this restaurant. Prices were fair for the amount of food. We had a large party and they did fantastic on timing and services. They even suggested of ordering certain ways to make it more economical for us.

If i could give more than 5 stars I would! I just recently moved to the city and pass this restaurant on my commute to work. Finally tried it out and, what a wonderful experience we had. First time trying indian cuisine which naturally came with quite a few questions about the menu. Server was super friendly and eager to make sure we were happy with the meals we picked! Manager on duty was also just as friendly and helpful! Food was delicious and arrived at the table quickly! Bathrooms spotless and environment very welcoming. We will be back, thank you!

Lovely restaurant near the river in downtown Grand Rapids. Excellent service. Very well-maintained and decorated and upscale. Lunch buffet offered plenty of delicious choices. Great prices. Parking areas close. This was a ten minute walk for us from the children's museum and even shorter of a walk to the public museum. Really loved this restaurant!

Excellent authentic Indian food in downtown Grand Rapids. I love the aloo gobi which is prepared to your spice preference. Get it as hot or as mild as you desire. Service is great as well.
