3 Best Indian Restaurants in Plano, TX

Unpretentious place in a strip mall but don't let the location fool you. We went here for Sunday lunch. The place was packed and folks waiting. Very efficient and were seated promptly. Service is excellent. Multiple staff checked on us . We ordered the pandhi platter...non vegetarian...and there were folks serving curries and rice and pretty much anything you wanted was refilled promptly. Food is delicious and authentic. We spoke with the Chef and were able to thank him personally. Would go back again. Highly recommend.

What a fantastic culinary experience!! The food was well presented and tasted even better. Banana leafs covering the plate was a wonderful touch. The Dosa and the Thali executive plate were fantastic. Noodles were very tasty and done just right! This was a serendipitous discovery and well worth the stop. You should discover it too!!.

Authentic south Indian served at its best. Flavorful. Chicken 65 was juicy, crispy and tasty. Egg kothu parotta was really good. Reminds me of home.

We ordered thali to go for our family ( kids and elders as well ), the packing was amazing and the food quality was excellent. For the price you pay, ( not like how you pay in other Indian restaurants especially like honest - where just for a small quantity they charge u a lot ) the quantity was sumptuous for lunch and I will order any day for my office lunch. Plus, if you order in Uber there is not delivery charge and u only pay a service fee .. overall it was great.

Malgudi Garden is a simple vegetarian restaurant that pleasantly surprised me. I’ve never visited the place, but I had the chance to try their food during a pooja—everything was prepared without onion and garlic, yet the taste was truly impressive. From that day on, I’ve been meaning to order from them again. The quantity is generous, and the flavors are spot on. Don’t wait or overthink like I did—just go ahead and try it!
