HISTORIA DESIGN

We needed to get some creative input and design for our kitchen/ADU . I phoned around to a few other design firms who were either flakey or weren't the right fit for our project. Finally I remembered meeting Jacqueline at a business meeting I had attended a few months before and decided to give her a call. After a face to face meeting in our house we hit it off right away. Working with Jacqueline and the team at Historia Design was absolutely fantastic. Very friendly, full of ideas and always got back to us within a day or two. This quality alone is worth working with them! Since this was our first time redesigning our house it was really helpful to work with someone who could be patient with our vision and help guide us through an exciting and overwhelming experience. I would recommend Historia Design to anyone looking for interior design.

I'm honored to write about Jacqueline's work. To give perspective, I had been working on a massive project with the city of Long Beach. She helped me overcome City Citations, an extremely difficult process to try to overcome while working a 9-5. She helped me convert my 4-unit to a 5-unit building. She also helped me rectify electrical issues by connecting me with other resources to fix my entire project. I can't express my gratitude enough. I went from not even being able to understand the amount of fix-actions i needed to resolve to walking into the city, paying city fees, and having my project "White Gloved" into the finish line. I cannot recommend Historia enough. They are professional, they are prompt, they will communicate, and most importantly they are knowledgeable. 5/5 stars, please look no further than this team.

Jacqueline is very professional and detailed oriented. I loved that she accommodated my unusual schedule and was willing to discuss her ideas with me in the late evening which is a huge plus when you are a busy professional. I did not feel pressured into making any decisions right away and felt like she was truly looking out for my best interest given the budget. I also loved that she was not arrogant/snooty looking down on me because of the budget. I will def be working with her in my future projects and recommending her as well.
