I liked the food better here than when I chaperoned a trip to Japan! Granted I was with a group of students and we ate within a budget but our party of four adults were really pleased with everything about our varied menu choices at Akai Hana. Well presented and Very pleasant dining room.

Really enjoyed our experience. It was my husband's birthday, also Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and it was very nice. Food was fresh. You can taste each veggie and ingredient individually and together as a dish. Can't wait to get back. Lots of gluten free options. Highly recommend.

Fish was amazing! They had a variety of more uncommon fish all were super fresh. If you prefer traditional sushi and focus on sashimi then this place is for you. Spent about $200 with tip mostly sashimi so we tried a good variety. Will be going back.

MESHIKOU RAMEN REVIEWS

It was probably our third time here and every time we come we enjoy it! The service is always good and efficient they were kinda busy but still managed to get us sat really fast and the food came out quickly. The food is always good and they change up the menu which is always fun! Our server Andrew was great and he had really good suggestions. Will be back!

Really good ramen and appetizers. We went on a Friday night and it was super busy, the wait was 30 mind but once we sat down we got our food super quick. Usually I’m iffy about ramen because I have a texture when it comes to the chashu pork, but I did not have a problem with the food here.

The food and drinks were really good. The fried chicken and Gyoza was definitely worth the wait to get seated.

Went in for dinner, they were busy but found a seat. They have a menu to look at before you get to the counter. You order your food at the counter and are handed an indicator that buzzes when your food is ready to be picked up. They have bottled drinks. However, the water is free and they also give you a cup. The person taking my order was very polite and very helpful. I was surprised that they did not have gluten free or rice noodles for the Ramen. I got the beef curry, which was good. The shrimp tempura was very good. The ginger dressing with the side salad was also very good. They have to-go containers for your leftovers.

This was our first time there and, Oh My Goodness, was it amazing! The portions were great, we ended up with some to take home. My spouse and I both had Tonkotsu Ramen. I had mine with Katsu pork and my spouse had beef and onions. We also had an order of the pan fried Gyoza and Taiyaki. Everything was so delicious! The Gyoza were just the right mix of crispy and tender. The Taiyaki was a nice sweet treat and the Ramen was a beautiful blend of flavors, rich, and creamy, and savory. I didn't ask, but the noodles taste homemade. We plan to return in the near future.

The restaurant has a clean, modern atmosphere. I tried the Unagi Don and Chicken Katsu—both were excellent. The chicken was fried just right, tender and not dry, while the flavor of the eel sauce was well-balanced and not too salty. Since this is a ramen specialty place, I’ll definitely try the ramen next time.
