Japan Inn is a Laid-back Japanese restaurant serving an extensive menu that includes sushi, Japanese kitchen dishes, Thai cuisine, and hibachi items. Since its establishment in 1990, the restaurant has been a popular local spot. Situated in Plantation Square, Japan Inn boasts a relatively large dining area with communal hibachi tables and regular tables outside the hibachi area. The restaurant specializes in hibachi-cooked tableside dishes, with sushi prepared fresh daily and Robata-Yakatori cooked over a coal fire. Japan Inn offers delivery, take-out, and catering services for all occasions. Customers can choose between regular seating or hibachi, and popular dishes include shrimp & chicken pad thai, hibachi-style chicken, and fried rice. The meal preparation at Japan Inn is highly entertaining for customers.

TAKATO REVIEWS
Excellent all around. The menu is a sharing style menu. We ordered a nice selection of different items some recommended by our excellent server and others we just found to be interesting. Each dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and nicely presented and of course delicious. Our server was top notch. The ocean view was a great addition to the excellent meal. Most staff were wearing masks and each table was sanitized as they became available. We will be back.
Beautiful ambiance and decor, but more importantly, the brunch was delicious! We ordered the Crunchy French toast and Avocado toast with eggs. They skimp you on the avocado but the sauce on top of the eggs was such an amazing flavor, it really elevated the whole dish. And the french toast had an amazing crunchy texture, best I've ever had. We even got a fruit bowl to go and it had over 8 types of fruit, very unique!! The coffee was not the best I have to say tho, We definitely will be back again to try lunch and dinner.
“Fantastic” is too small a word to describe my experience. The best dining experience I have had in Ft. Lauderdale. Tasty food, amazing scenery, titillating cocktails and incredible service. The food selection and portions are just right. Great place for business meetings and pleasure. Your out of town guests will love it.
