Woodruff-Fontaine House is a 16-room mansion built in 1870 with period furnishings, and mannequins showcase the day's fashions. This magnificent French Gothic mansion was designed in 1870 along Millionaires Row. The Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities rescued the house in 1962 and restored it to its former splendor. Their mission is alive through continuing conservation programs and awareness through special interest group visits and regular collections and exhibitions rotation. The house has more than 4,000 items in its collection, from wedding gowns to undergarments. Woodruff-Fontaine House has an eclectic collection of antiquities and artifacts from the 19th and the turn of the 20th century. The house's first floor is accessible to the elderly, and accessible restroom facilities are available. The house offers self-guided tours. Woodruff-Fontaine House offers free museum parking.
