This magnificent French Gothic mansion was designed in 1870 along Millionaires Row, and mannequins showcase the day's fashions. The Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities rescued the house in 1962 and restored the property. The house has more than 4,000 collection items, including wedding gowns and undergarments. Woodruff-Fontaine House Museum has a collection of antiquities and artifacts from the 19th and early 20th centuries. The house's first floor is accessible to the elderly, and accessible restroom facilities are available. Woodruff-Fontaine House offers free museum parking.

GRACELAND REVIEWS

Graceland was our main reason for visiting Memphis and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The organization is well thought out and assures you to have a smooth, fun tour. It was surreal visiting Elvis’s home and just learning everything from his parents, his upbringing, his own little family and career. His cars were so unique and beautiful to the exhibit of his wardrobe- so mesmerizing and a beautiful display. The gift shops had plenty of fun souvenirs and everything throughout the museums kept you entertained. We spent about 4hrs here but definitely could of spent even more if we decided to eat here. Parking is easy with a large parking lot. Definitely worth the price of everything, there is plenty to see! Truly is an experience.

would say it’s a must do from a classic perspective and to see the rich history of Elvis eccentric lifestyle. I think the museum in building across the street have a lot of great things in it but it’s not very well curated except for the last part that has all of his show costumes. Experiencing other museums, they need to integrate some technology into Graceland Museum and refresh the overall experience. The area itself is pretty rough, but we stayed at the guest house at Graceland and that was beautiful. Overall gave it five stars because it’s just rich with history.

This is a great experience. We did the self guided tour and it was enough. Get the free audio guide. It's worth it. There is a lot to see. The mansion, it the the state that Elvis left it, his cars, jets, his elaborate stage costumes, his awards, horses, his racquetball court (a fave of mine), family history and of course his and his family's burial sites. Expect to stay for 3-4 hours at least. Buy tickets in advance, they do sell out. Parking was $10. The are a couple restaurants in the complex. Try a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich.

I brought my children to the children's museum for a School field trip. We were greeted with the most respect. Any questions I asked about sites such as the carousel, the workers were very knowledgeable about the history of the carousel, where it came from and when it was placed inside of the museum. I don't know who enjoyed the visit more, my students or myself. I loved it so much that I will be bringing my own children back to visit for a family outing. My favorite area that I most enjoyed was the life-size chess game.

Great place to keep the kids occupied for a while we didn't realize how long we were there with all the activities they had. Fully enclosed buildings to stay cool lots of attractions the water feature left my kids entertained for a good while. Lots of parking vending machines are located in the lobby lots of healthy options for the kids.

Fantastic place! Both times we have been, our kids spent over 6 hours and could have stayed longer! So many fun things for them. They LOVE the Kroger area and art area. Our latest trip they had a very nice Mo Williams exhibit.

An amazing home mostly restored and the quality and quantity of period furniture, linens, dishes, toys, dolls and so on was simply incredible. A must see! We were greeted at the back door, given a brief history of the two primary owners. The host checked on us multiple times to answer any questions. It was great to see all three floors and the tower all open to be viewed! A great spot to see a historical mansion! I would have preferred a fully guided tour but it was quite spectacular.

The Victorian District of Memphis is small, but in my opinion one of the best sights this amazing city has to offer. After an interesting introduction, we toured most parts of this stunning building on our own. Street parking is available, just next door is Mallory Neely House - both houses are definitely worth a visit. Plan about 1 hour for each house.

Wow, what a beautiful house and exciting history! Georgia, Rosemary, and Lauren did a great job explaining the house and answering my family's questions. I highly recommend a visit here.
